Mechanical joints

01

Bolting

The classic detachable joint. Ideal when assemblies need to be serviced, dismantled or readjusted. We work with defined torque and a documented bolting strategy for safety-critical joints.

02

Riveting

Blind rivets and solid rivets create permanent joints without heat input. Particularly suited to thin-walled components and mixed joints of different materials. Fast, economical and vibration-resistant.

03

Press-fitting

Press-in nuts, press-in pins and press-in bushings are pressed form-fit into sheet metal. The result: load-bearing threads and fits in thin materials, without damaging the surface of the mating side.

04

Clinching (press joining)

Clinching joins sheet metal through localized forming – without rivet, without bolt, without heat. Eco-friendly, fast and economical. Especially popular in vehicle manufacturing and the white goods industry.

Thermal joints

05

MIG/MAG welding

The universal welding process for steel and aluminium. High deposition rate, good automatability and suitable for medium to heavy material thicknesses. With our own for series production.

06

TIG welding

For the highest seam quality on and thin materials. The TIG process produces clean, visually appealing weld seams without spatter – ideal for visible assemblies.

07

Spot welding

Resistance spot welding joins overlapping sheets quickly and cleanly. The standard joining process for sheet metal assemblies in automotive and equipment manufacturing. High cycle rates, low costs.

Which process for your assembly?

The choice of joining process depends on many factors

Not every process is suitable for every application. The right choice depends on:

  • Type of load (static, dynamic, vibration)
  • Material (steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper)
  • Material thickness and wall thickness
  • Detachability (maintenance, repair)
  • Aesthetic requirements
  • Quantity and cost-effectiveness

We are happy to advise you and recommend the optimal process for your specific assembly.
